What are the Effects? A recent report by the European Food Safety Agency (EFSA), the European Medicines Agency (EMA) and the European Center for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) concluded that the use of antibiotics in food-producing animals in the EU is currently lower than in humans.
The significant decline in the use of antibiotics in food-producing animals suggests that measures taken at national level to reduce use have been successful. Use of a class of antibiotics called polymyxins, including colistin, was almost halved in food-producing animals. This is a positive development as polymyxins are also used in hospitals to treat patients infected with multi-drug resistant bacteria.
Poland, as a member of the European Union and the largest producer of poultry meat, participates in the residue research program, including medications in poultry meat. In 2020, almost 12,000 official samples were collected and examined, of which only 3 showed a violation of the applicable law. It can be said that Polish poultry meat is safe and natural. Therefore, by offering a 20 mm chicken leg meat cube we are sure to offer a very good product that is safe and natural.
